Flag

(noun)

A piece of cloth or similar material, typically oblong or square, attachable by one edge to a pole or rope and used as the symbol or emblem of a country or institution or as a decoration during public festivities.

This page is still a work-in-progress. It’s very hard to get good photos of flags that are a-flying!

The front of each flagpole base has the Name, “birthday”, and motto of the flag.

The bottom of each flagpole base identifies the flagpole donor and their honorees.
