• The Chairs of each Team are appointed by the Board of Directors.

  • Team Members must be FFP Members.

  • Teams meet as necessary

  • Team Reports that have been approved by the Board of Directors are available to all FFP Members upon request.

Site Development Team

Purpose: to design and maintain the site including designing future monuments for Veterans’ names, water features, signage, boat docks, other features and landscaping that will beautify and honor the spirit of Freedom Park

2026 Co-Chairs: Alan Heath, John Morgan, Thomas White

Events Team

Purpose: to coordinate ceremonies and special events at Freedom Park

2026 Chair: Miguel Fabbiani

Membership Team

Purpose: to manage the whole member experience including recruiting new members, welcoming them in, and keeping them engaged.

2026 Temporary Co-Chairs: Katheryn Johnston & Barrett Newsom

Fundraising Team

Purpose: To procure resources (funds and in-kind conations) needed for Park upkeep and special projects. To develop relationships with local businesses and other veteran’s groups.

2026 Chair: Katheryn Johnston

Communications Team

Purpose: To manage communication between FFP and membership and the public using print, online media, radio, and TV. Includes managing this website, social media, newsletters, Chatter articles, etc.
